Think Foundation along with Department of Pediatrics, LTMG Hospital, Sion has organized workshops for thalassaemic children and their parents. The Workshop, which had received the support of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, aimed at educating the children and their parents about the different aspects of the treatment of thalassaemic children.

The workshop had six workstations each dealing with one aspect of the treatment – i.e. blood transfusion, iron chelation, endocrine, psychosocial, periodic testing, genetic counseling.

The workshop was followed by interaction with the children and some games.
